JAMB extends deadline for acceptance of previous admissions
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates to accept or reject admission offers made from 2021 onwards. The new deadline is set for September 30.
This extension serves as a final opportunity for affected candidates, including those with regular or Centralised University International Admission (CUIIA) offers, to update their status. JAMB officials warned that failure to take action by the deadline will have consequences for the status of these admissions.
Candidates who accept their offers will be permitted to print their admission letters. Those who choose to reject their offers will have their dashboards updated to ‘Not Admitted’ to ensure the Board’s records remain accurate. For students who are no longer at the institution where the original admission was offered, or those enrolled in different programs, the Board advised accepting the outstanding admission first and then applying for the necessary corrections or deletions.
