JAMB postpones 2021 UTME registration for NIN integration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has postponed the registration for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry. The delay, which affected the scheduled April 8 start date, is due to efforts to complete National Identification Number (NIN) integration and finalize PIN vending processes.

Additionally, JAMB has introduced a new procedure for candidates who have lost access to the phone numbers or email addresses linked to their profiles. To update these details, candidates must obtain a court affidavit, pay a prescribed fee via the JAMB e-Facility portal under the ‘Penalties’ section, and visit a designated JAMB office for biometric verification and document upload.
