Jamel Herring and John Dodson make weight for BKFC 95 title fight

Jamel Herring and John Dodson have completed the official weigh-ins for the BKFC 95 main event at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Herring weighed in at 134.4 pounds, while Dodson recorded 134.8 pounds.

Herring enters the bout as the defending BKFC bantamweight champion. Dodson, the current flyweight titleholder, is attempting to move up in weight to secure a second championship in a different division. During the weigh-in, Dodson expressed an intention to use an aggressive punching exchange strategy, while Herring stated the fight would allow him to address critics regarding his standing in bare-knuckle competition.

The event card also features a welterweight co-main event between Jimmie Rivera and Brandon Meyer, who both weighed in at 159.8 pounds. BKFC CEO David Feldman noted that the flyweight division will be retired in the near future.
