James Blunt releases new single ‘Circles’ ahead of upcoming album

Singer James Blunt has released a new single titled ‘Circles’, which serves as the opening track for his upcoming eighth studio album, ‘Airplane Mode’. The song is inspired by the Britpop sounds of the late 1990s and early 2000s, reflecting the musical influences from the start of his career.

‘Airplane Mode’ is scheduled for release on November 6 through Atlantic Records. The album, which features twelve tracks, was largely recorded at Pig Music Studios in Banbury with Blunt’s regular live band. This release follows previous singles ‘Tastes Like Summer’ and ‘Weight Of It All’.

Blunt is also planning a major European tour to support the new album, including a UK and Ireland leg starting in late March. The tour includes stops in cities such as Leeds, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Cardiff, Bournemouth, and Brighton.
