James Corden joins cast of Netflix crime drama Dept. Q

James Corden has joined the cast of the second season of the Netflix crime drama ‘Dept. Q’. Corden is set to portray Dr. Ben Smith, an eccentric and brilliant forensic psychologist.

The series, based on the books by Danish author Jussi Adler-Olsen, is set in Edinburgh and follows DCI Carl Morck, played by Matthew Goode, as he leads a cold case department. The second season is written and directed by Scott Frank and will feature returning cast members including Matthew Goode, Alexej Manvelov, Leah Byrne, and Jamie Sives, alongside new additions such as Aisling Franciosi, Greg Wise, and Nicholas Rowe.
