James Garner recalled to England squad for Nations League

Everton midfielder James Garner has been recalled to the England squad for upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. His inclusion follows the withdrawal of several key players, including Arsenal’s Declan Rice, Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, and Newcastle’s Tino Livramento due to injuries or workload management.

Garner’s recall comes amid strong early-season form at Everton, where he has been a central figure in the team’s unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign. He has started four of the club's first five matches and leads the team in passes from central midfield.

Additionally, Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has returned to the squad. The England team, managed by Thomas Tuchel, is scheduled to face Spain, Croatia, and the Czech Republic in their upcoming international matches.
