James Gunn confirms wrap on Man of Tomorrow filming

Principal photography for the DC Studios film ‘Man of Tomorrow’ has officially concluded. Director James Gunn confirmed the completion of filming on Threads, describing the production experience as joyful and expressing gratitude to the cast and crew.

The film serves as a follow-up to the recent Superman reboot, which grossed approximately $600 million at the global box office. This success has solidified the trajectory for the new DC Universe (DCU). The production is now entering the post-production phase, with a scheduled release in 2027.

Cast members include David Corenswet returning as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Actress Adria Arjona, who has undergone intensive physical training for a mysterious role in the film, will also appear alongside Lars Eidinger, who is set to play Brainiac.
