James Haven comes out as gay in livestream

James Haven, the actor and producer who is the brother of Angelina Jolie and son of Jon Voight, has publicly come out as gay. Haven shared the news during a livestream on August 6, accompanied by his former wife, Romi Imbelli.

Reflecting on his childhood, Haven discussed the pressures of concealing his true self to gain acceptance. He stated, “Coming out isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about allowing everyone else to meet the person who has been here all along.” He expressed a desire to live authentically after years of healing from childhood traumas.

Haven and Imbelli married in August 2024, but the marriage was annulled approximately two weeks later. Despite the annulment, the two remain close friends. Imbelli supported Haven during the livestream and expressed her continued love for him as a member of her family and a best friend.
