James Haven publicly shares sexual orientation

James Haven, the brother of Angelina Jolie, has publicly shared his sexual orientation during a livestream alongside his former wife, Romi Imbelli. The announcement comes more than a year after their brief marriage ended.

Haven and Imbelli, a makeup artist and reality TV star, married in California in August 2024. However, Imbelli filed for an annulment just 15 days after the wedding. Legal documents filed in March 2025 cited “fraud” as the reason for the annulment, though specific details were not disclosed. The couple reached an agreement to finalize the annulment in June 2025.

Despite the end of their marriage, the two maintain a close friendship. During the livestream on August 6, 2026, Imbelli expressed her support for Haven, stating she had previously suspected his orientation but remains his close friend. Haven noted that coming out was about allowing others to see his true self and expressed a desire for understanding from his family.
