James Jordan speaks on marriage split from Ola Jordan

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan has spoken publicly about his separation from wife Ola Jordan after 22 years of marriage. Speaking on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, Jordan described the recent period as a ‘tough few years’ and noted that he moved out of their shared home a few months ago.

The couple, who met at a dance competition in 1999 and married in 2003, announced their split in early August. They share a six-year-old daughter, Ella. Jordan expressed that while he finds the situation difficult to discuss, he is focusing on finding himself again and has appreciated the support of those checking in on him.

Both James and Ola became well-known figures through their work on the BBC entertainment programme Strictly Come Dancing. Ola Jordan previously won the Glitterball Trophy in 2009.
