James Maddison supports Wilson Odobert during injury recovery

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison has publicly offered words of encouragement to teammate Wilson Odobert as the winger nears a return from a long-term injury.

Odobert has been sidelined since February after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The 21-year-old French winger has spent several months undergoing intensive rehabilitation and physical therapy at the club’s training facilities.

Maddison shared a message of support on social media, acknowledging the psychological difficulties of recovering from a major injury away from the main squad. Maddison praised Odobert’s work ethic and determination during the rehabilitation process, stating, “The dark days in the midst of rehab. Empty training ground away from the team. Takes a strong man to get through it. Keep going son! Proud of you!”
