James Madison defeats Old Dominion 46-20 in Sun Belt opener

James Madison University defeated Old Dominion 46-20 in their Sun Belt Conference opener on Saturday night at S. B. Ballard Stadium. Quarterback Camden Coleman led the Dukes with four touchdown passes, completing 24 of 42 attempts for 243 yards.

JMU's offense accumulated 405 total yards, supported by a 110-yard rushing performance from George Pettaway. The Dukes' defense recorded nine sacks, tying a program record, and limited Old Dominion to -14 rushing yards.

Coleman's touchdown recipients included Cole Keller, Michael Scott, Jeremiah Harrison, and Corey Scott. Seth Cromwell added a late touchdown to secure the win, moving James Madison to a 4-0 record for the season. Old Dominion falls to 1-3.
