James Madison Dukes face Old Dominion in Sun Belt opener

The James Madison Dukes are set to begin Sun Belt Conference play against the Old Dominion Monarchs on Saturday, September 26, at S. B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, Virginia. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 PM ET kickoff and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

James Madison enters the matchup with a 3-0 record, following a recent 26-13 victory over San Diego State. Quarterback Camden Coleman led the Dukes in that contest with 246 passing yards and three total touchdowns. The Dukes' defense has also been active, recently recording two interceptions and multiple turnovers on downs.

Old Dominion holds a 1-2 record for the 2026 season after a recent 20-17 loss to East Carolina. The Monarchs are looking to bounce back following a season that included a 10-win campaign last year.
