James Madison University wins ODU/OBX Intercollegiate golf titles

James Madison University secured both the team and individual titles at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate held at the Kilmarlic Golf Club. Following 54 holes of competition, JMU and Georgetown were tied at -3, leading to a one-hole playoff where JMU claimed the championship.

Michael Hake earned the individual title after a playoff against Georgetown’s George McGlinn. Hake finished the tournament with a three-round score of -4. JMU golfer Ethan Anderson also performed strongly, tying for third place with a score of -3.

In the same tournament, Longwood University’s Matthew Hartley finished in a tie for third place with a score of 3-under par 210. The Longwood team finished in 14th place overall.
