James May lists Triumph Stag from The Grand Tour finale for sale

James May has listed his 1974 Triumph Stag MkII for sale through Collecting Cars. The magenta-colored roadster is the specific vehicle used by May in the final episode of The Grand Tour, titled “One for the Road,” which marked the conclusion of the series featuring May, Jeremy Clarkson, and Richard Hammond.

The vehicle features an original 3.0-liter Triumph V8 engine and a four-speed manual gearbox. While the car has undergone two restorations, the seller noted that documentation regarding these services was lost during the production of the television special. Following the filming in Africa, May had the car returned to near-standard trim at Richard Hammond’s workshop.

Notable details include a speedometer from an earlier MkI model fitted into the MkII chassis and a reported mileage of 83,368 miles, though the seller does not officially warrant the odometer reading. Bidding for the vehicle is scheduled to close on October 29.
