James Middleton shares photos of son watching UK solar eclipse
James Middleton, brother of the Princess of Wales, shared photos of his two-year-old son, Inigo, watching a significant solar eclipse in the United Kingdom. The event, described by Royal Museums Greenwich as the nation's most significant solar eclipse since 1999, saw approximately 90 per cent of the sun covered by the moon in London.
In the images shared on Instagram, Inigo was seen observing the phenomenon alongside the family's two golden retrievers, Mabel and Isla. The Middleton family resides in the Berkshire countryside, where Inigo is being raised in a multilingual environment, speaking both English and French.
While the eclipse was not a total solar eclipse, it drew large crowds across the UK. Observers in the region will have to wait until 2050 for the next deep partial solar eclipse, with the next total solar eclipse visible from the UK not expected until 2090.
