James O’Keefe releases undercover reports on election procedures

James O’Keefe and the O’Keefe Media Group have released undercover footage alleging vulnerabilities in election procedures during recent primary elections in Minnesota and Alaska.

In Minnesota, O’Keefe and Cam Higby visited Minneapolis polling locations during the August 11 primary. They attempted to test the state’s “vouching” system, which allows registered voters to verify the residence of others registering on Election Day. Secretary of State Steve Simon responded by accusing the group of impersonating voters and potentially violating the law, stating that law enforcement is reviewing the incident.

In Alaska, O’Keefe released footage from the August 18 primary in which he and his team attempted to access ballots for individuals without providing identification. The report claims that poll workers in Anchorage offered the option of question ballots to individuals who stated they had left their wallets in their vehicles, despite state statutes requiring identification. O’Keefe noted that while names were located on voter rolls, he did not sign documents or cast actual ballots.
