James Reid releases new single ‘Sunny Side’

James Reid has released a new alternative pop single titled ‘Sunny Side’, featuring producer and artist Luke April. Released via Sony Music Entertainment, the track is set to be part of Reid’s forthcoming album, ‘honey, i’m home’.

The song was recorded during a spontaneous, week-long creative session in a makeshift outdoor studio. This relaxed environment allowed for an organic development of the music through improvisation, blending vibrant production with an easygoing rap section and experimental filtered drums and guitars.

Reid describes the track as an exploration of personal freedom and the ability to define oneself regardless of external perceptions. The production by Luke April incorporates an alternative pop-rock sensibility inspired by artists such as Dominic Fike.
