James Talarico campaign features ‘Friday Night Lights’ stars in new ad

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico has released a new campaign advertisement featuring stars from the television series ‘Friday Night Lights,’ including Connie Britton, Jesse Plemons, and Adrianne Palicki. The ad utilizes the show’s famous battle cry to support Talarico’s campaign in Texas as he approaches the November 3 election.

Talarico, a four-term member of the Texas House of Representatives, is currently tied in the polls with Republican opponent and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. The race is notable as Talarico seeks to become the first Democrat to hold state office in Texas since 1994. While Talarico has garnered support from various high-profile figures and donors, his opponent Ken Paxton has received backing from Donald Trump and significant financial support from Elon Musk.
