James Wade wins maiden World Series of Darts title in Australia

James Wade secured his first maiden World Series of Darts title at the Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong, defeating local favorite Brody Klinge 8-5 in the final. Wade demonstrated exceptional form throughout the tournament, including a 164 checkout during his match against Stephen Bunting and a 7-4 victory over Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals.

The results in Australia have finalized the standings for the upcoming World Series of Darts Finals, scheduled for September 17-20 in Amsterdam at the AFAS Live venue. Michael van Gerwen leads the series standings with 32 points, followed by Gerwyn Price and Luke Littler. The tournament field will consist of 32 players, including the top 24 from the series rankings and four high-ranking PDC players.

The Amsterdam finals feature an increased total prize pool of £450,000, with the winner set to receive £100,000.
