Jamie Bell generates €354,000 turnover reselling LEGO on eBay
Jamie Bell, an 18-year-old entrepreneur from South London, has built a highly profitable business reselling LEGO products on eBay. His annual turnover recently reached over €354,000, up from €118,000 in his first year.
Bell’s strategy involves purchasing LEGO sets and disassembling them to sell individual pieces and figures to collectors and specialized dealers. He focuses on popular themes such as Star Wars and Batman, moving approximately 100 kilograms of LEGO parts per month. One notable auction for Star Wars figures alone generated roughly €26,500.
The business grew rapidly, requiring Bell to hire an accountant at age 16 to manage the finances. After accounting for inventory costs and other expenses, his annual net profit stands at approximately €59,000. Despite his success, Bell does not intend to pursue this as a long-term career; he plans to study history at university and use his earnings to purchase his first apartment.
