Jamie Chua receives significant monthly alimony following divorce

Jamie Chua, a former Singapore Airlines flight attendant, gained widespread attention across Asia following her divorce from Indonesian businessman Nurdian Cuaca. The couple met while Chua was working in business class and were married for 15 years, during which they raised two children and maintained a high-luxury lifestyle.

The marriage ended in 2011 after Chua discovered her husband's infidelity. During the legal proceedings, Chua sought to freeze approximately 93 million SGD in assets, arguing her role in supporting her husband's career justified significant financial support. The dispute resulted in a settlement where Chua was granted custody of their two children and received monthly alimony of approximately 450,000 SGD.
