Jamie Dornan describes being ‘terrified’ while hosting SNL UK

Actor Jamie Dornan expressed that he was ‘terrified’ prior to hosting the second episode of the UK version of Saturday Night Live. Lead producer James Longman shared these details during the Edinburgh TV Festival, noting that Dornan initially doubted his ability to perform during a hostage sketch rehearsal.

Dornan described the experience as the ‘most stressful week’ of his life, but noted that connecting with the cast and receiving laughter from a live audience during dress rehearsals helped build his confidence. The first season of the series has featured various hosts, including Tina Fey, Riz Ahmed, Jack Whitehall, Nicola Coughlan, Aimee Lou Wood, Hannah Waddingham, and Ncuti Gatwa.
