Jamie Foxx to Lead Amazon Prime Video Thriller 'Deadlocked

Actor Jamie Foxx will headline the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios action thriller "Deadlocked," which will stream exclusively on Prime Video. The film is directed by Indian filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, known for the 2023 Hindi‑language action movie Kill. "Deadlocked" follows a grieving former Marine serving jury duty who becomes embroiled in a deadly hostage crisis when the defendant’s daughter seizes a courthouse during a high‑profile trial. The screenplay was written by Eric Scot Anderson and Matt Takejiro Bosack. Production credits include Brian Kavanaugh‑Jones, Fred Berger, Dave Caplan and Foxx’s own Foxxhole Productions, with executive producers Bourscheid, Liz Destro, Paul Currie and Corinne Foxx. No additional cast members have been announced.
