Jamie Foxx’s ‘Beat Shazam’ celebrates 100th episode milestone

The Fox musical game show ‘Beat Shazam’ is celebrating its 100th episode, marking a significant milestone in the current television landscape. Since its premiere in May 2017, the program has spanned eight seasons and distributed $10 million in winnings.

Executive producer Jeff Apploff credited the show’s longevity to host Jamie Foxx, noting that Foxx’s active engagement with the audience and musical involvement helped distinguish the series from other celebrity-hosted game shows. Foxx noted that while many similar projects launched during the same period, ‘Beat Shazam’ has remained a survivor in the industry.
