Jamie Skelly re-appointed as Langwarrin head coach

Jamie Skelly has been re-appointed as the head coach of Langwarrin for a fourth consecutive season. Following a 2026 season where the club successfully avoided relegation to remain in VPL1, Skelly intends to focus on a senior squad revamp. He emphasized that while the club has ambitions to reach the NPL, it will prioritize financial sustainability and avoid overextending its budget.

In contrast, Dave Kuhanez has been named the new head coach of Baxter, marking his debut in senior team coaching for the 2027 season.

Langwarrin is currently undergoing significant roster changes, with six players already departing Lawton Park, including leading scorer Alun Webb and goalkeeper Jonty Benfield.
