Jamie Vardy launches Bundesliga YouTube broadcasts and eyes Premier League return

Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is expanding his presence in football through both media and potential playing opportunities. Vardy has become a Bundesliga broadcaster in the United Kingdom and Ireland via his YouTube channel, ‘Jamie Vardy’s Having a Party’. Owned by Banijay Entertainment, the channel will broadcast seven live German Championship matches for free this season, specifically scheduled for Friday evenings. This move aligns with the Bundesliga’s strategy to reach younger audiences by utilizing content creators for live broadcasting rights.

On the professional front, the 39-year-old striker, who is currently a free agent following his departure from Italian club Cremonese, is reportedly linked to a return to English football. Following a season in Serie A where he scored seven goals in 29 appearances, rumors suggest Everton may be interested in attracting Vardy to the Premier League.
