Former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has secured rights to live-stream seven Bundesliga matches on his YouTube channel, ‘Jamie Vardy’s Having a Party’, for the 2026/27 season. The deal, facilitated by Banijay Entertainment through its Workerbee label, targets audiences in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The broadcasts will feature a ‘watch-along’ format, including Vardy, guests, and commentators providing real-time reactions and insights. The partnership begins with the Bundesliga season opener between FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart.
This initiative is part of the Bundesliga’s broader strategy to engage younger demographics by expanding its presence on digital platforms and leveraging content creators. Alongside Vardy, the league has renewed its partnership with Mark Goldbridge’s ‘That’s Football’ channel to stream 15 matches.
Separately, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has confirmed that contract extension discussions with the club have commenced. Kane, who was recently named Germany’s Footballer of the Year, noted that while talks are positive, he does not intend to rush the process regarding his long-term future at the Allianz Arena.
