Jamiroquai performs at Arena CDMX after eight-year absence
British band Jamiroquai concluded their international tour with a performance at Arena CDMX, marking their first appearance in Mexico in eight years. The concert featured a setlist spanning the band's discography, blending funk, acid jazz, soul, and electronic music.
Lead singer Jay Kay, accompanied by band members Derrick McKenzie, Rob Harris, Matt Johnson, and Paul Turner, performed classics such as ‘(Don’t) Give Hate a Chance’, ‘Little L’, ‘Space Cowboy’, ‘Cosmic Girl’, and ‘Canned Heat’. The performance served as the final stop in Mexico following previous shows in Monterrey and Guadalajara.
During the event, Jay Kay announced that the band will release a new album next year and plans to return to Mexico as an apology for their long absence.
