Jammerbugt Kommune prepares for healthcare reorganization

Jammerbugt Kommune is preparing for a reorganization of healthcare services following a national health reform. Effective January 1, 2027, the responsibility for 20 temporary care beds at Solbakken in Brovst will transfer from the municipality to Region Nordjylland.

These facilities will be redesignated as health and care beds, specifically targeting citizens requiring professional medical treatment and care. Current residents at Solbakken will not be required to move during this transition. Jammerbugt Kommune will continue to manage its remaining municipal temporary care beds after the reform takes effect.
