Jammu and Kashmir officials review security and development

Officials in Jammu and Kashmir are conducting high-level reviews of security and developmental infrastructure. Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army's Northern Command, chaired a security review and coordination meeting in Srinagar. The meeting focused on the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness, and the necessity for enhanced inter-agency synergy and real-time intelligence sharing to improve joint operations.

Simultaneously, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo and Ministry of Home Affairs official Nitesh Vyas reviewed the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and major development projects. Discussions included progress in education, power, digital connectivity, and health. Dulloo emphasized an outcome-oriented approach to ensure welfare programs reach intended beneficiaries.

In a separate administrative push, Chief Secretary Dulloo also reviewed the progress of land record digitisation and the AgriStack initiative. The review addressed the creation of Farmer IDs, Unique Land Parcel Identification Numbers (ULPINs), and the integration of cadastral maps to facilitate easier digital access for farmers.
