Jammu and Kashmir Police Attach Properties of Pakistan-Based Terrorists in Reasi and Ramban

The Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized immovable assets belonging to nine Pakistan‑based terrorists under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. In Reasi district, Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat ordered the attachment of land owned by five individuals linked to Lashkar‑e‑Taiba, including Alaf Din, Ghulam Mohammad, Mohammad Ashraf, Shabir Ahmad and Bahar Din, totaling several kanals and marlas. Proclamation proceedings were also secured against Lashkar‑e‑Taiba operative Mohd Qasim.

In Ramban district, Senior Superintendent of Police Arun Gupta announced the attachment of properties of four terrorists settled in Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir—Abdul Rashid, Ghulam Rasool, Abdul Latief Naik and Mushtaq Ahmed—covering roughly 13 kanals and 13 marlas of land valued at millions of rupees. Both actions are part of a broader effort to dismantle the financial and logistical support network of cross‑border terrorism in the union territory.
