Jammu and Kashmir Police host kabaddi tournament in Ramban

The Jammu and Kashmir Police organized a kabaddi tournament in Ramban as part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP). The initiative is designed to encourage youth participation in sports, provide a platform for emerging local talent, and support anti-drug campaigns by steering young people away from negative influences.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Arun Gupta stated that the tournament follows directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters. These Civic Action Programmes are being implemented across the district at various subdivision and police station levels to promote discipline and community engagement. Deputy Commissioner Alyas Khan also praised the participants, noting that such competitions help young athletes develop their abilities.
