Jammu and Kashmir Statehood Protest Held in Delhi with NC Leaders and Chief Minister

The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference organised a protest in New Delhi demanding the restoration of statehood for the region. Party president Farooq Abdullah and other senior leaders addressed the gathering, urging the Union Government to honour its promise made after the Assembly elections.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah travelled from Jammu and Kashmir to join the demonstration, arriving at the venue outside the Jammu and Kashmir House by auto rickshaw after being denied permission to protest at Jantar Mantar. Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary also spoke, reminding Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah of their commitment to restore statehood.
