Jamshedpur police arrest two for selling mobile locations in murder case
Police in Jamshedpur have arrested a traffic sergeant, Ayan Gupta, and a guard, Twinkle Das, for allegedly operating a mobile location tracking network used in the murder of Nikhar Sablok.
Investigations revealed that the duo provided precise mobile locations to Ashok Singh Raghav for fees ranging from 5,000 to 7,000 rupees. Evidence shows Nikhar Sablok’s location was tracked multiple times between July 24 and August 23, including four times on the day of his murder. This tracking allowed shooters to locate him near the Tenth Mile Stone Hotel in the Chandil police station area.
Both suspects have been sent to judicial custody. While several individuals have already been arrested in connection with the murder, police are still searching for the primary shooter, Sagar Singh.
