Jamshedpur: Youth attacked by group of masked individuals

A young man named Rahul Sharma was allegedly attacked in the Uliadih police station area of Jamshedpur on Monday. According to his mother, a group of approximately 25 to 30 individuals wearing helmets and face coverings surrounded the victim and assaulted him with rods and hockey sticks.

The victim's family also reported that the attackers fired a shot into the air during the incident. While the victim did not sustain a direct gunshot wound, he suffered serious injuries to his face, hands, legs, and waist. He was transported to MGM Hospital by friends and was subsequently referred to TMH for advanced medical treatment.

Local police are currently investigating the incident to identify and confirm the involvement of the attackers.
