Jamshid Rajabi funeral held in Bandar Imam Khomeini

The body of Jamshid Rajabi, a sailor who was killed during a U.S. attack on a container ship near the Qeshm Islands, was processed in a funeral ceremony in Bandar Imam Khomeini. The event saw large attendance from local residents, military and police forces, and government officials.

During the ceremony, Ayatollah Mohsen Heydari, a representative in the Assembly of Experts for Khuzestan, stated that Rajabi died defending the dignity and independence of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Heydari criticized the actions of the United States and the Zionist regime, asserting that Iran will not succumb to foreign aggression or pressure and will defend its legal rights and national security, specifically mentioning the importance of the Strait of Hormuz.
