Jan Błachowicz to face undefeated Navajo Stirling in co‑main at UFC Belgrade
Jan Błachowicz, the former UFC light‑heavyweight champion, will fight undefeated New Zealand contender Navajo Stirling in the co‑main event of UFC’s first ever gala in Serbia. The bout, scheduled for 1 August, replaces the originally planned matchup with Bogdan Guskov, who was moved to a title fight in Abu Dhabi. Stirling, a 28‑year‑old fighter from Auckland’s City Kickboxing gym, enters the Octagon with a perfect 10‑0 professional record, including recent knockout wins over Ion Cutelaba. Błachowicz, 43, has not recorded a victory since 2022 but brings extensive championship experience. The event also features a full UFC card in Belgrade, marking the promotion’s debut on Serbian soil.
