Jan Grabowski appointed President of Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic

Jan Grabowski has been appointed as the new President of the Management Board of Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic (GPB), effective September 21, 2026. Grabowski, an experienced manager with over fifteen years in the defense industry, previously served as Vice President of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), where he oversaw maritime projects and international cooperation.

Grabowski’s leadership aims to strengthen the Group’s position in strategic sectors, specifically focusing on energy transformation and the maritime economy. He highlighted the importance of developing the competencies of Stocznia Gdańska, a key part of the Group, to support the Pomerania region and meet evolving market needs. GPB’s portfolio includes wind turbine towers, large steel structures, and offshore units.

The appointment follows a period of leadership changes within the company. Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic is 100% owned by the Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu (Industrial Development Agency).
