Jan Kuchta joins Legia Warszawa on loan from Sparta Prague

Jan Kuchta, a 29-year-old Czech international striker, has joined Legia Warszawa on a one-year loan from Sparta Prague. The deal includes an option for a permanent transfer at the end of the 2026/27 season.

Kuchta, a three-time Czech league champion and former top scorer, brings significant experience to the Polish club. He has earned 31 caps for the Czech national team and has previously played for clubs including Slavia Prague, Lokomotiv Moscow, and Midtjylland.

In Warsaw, Kuchta will reunite with fellow Czech midfielder Michal Sevcik, who is also on loan at Legia. Legia's sporting director, Fredi Bobic, noted that Kuchta's scoring record and ability to draw defensive attention will be valuable assets for the squad.
