Jan Lubomirski-Lanckoroński says 10,000 PLN a month needed for decent life in Poland

Jan Lubomirski-Lanckoroński, a Polish aristocrat and entrepreneur, told Jastrząb Post that earning around 10,000 złoty per month would allow a comfortable, dignified life in Poland. He emphasized that the required amount varies significantly by city: Warsaw is considerably more expensive than other locations, while Kraków is relatively economical. He noted that many workers choose to live in Łódź and commute to Warsaw to benefit from lower housing costs.

Lubomirski-Lanckoroński also mentioned his personal spending habits, saying most of his money goes toward “scary things” such as art purchases. He highlighted that while some people can manage on lower incomes, achieving financial security and pursuing personal ambitions becomes increasingly difficult at lower wage levels.

His comments reflect ongoing public debate in Poland about the cost of living and the income needed for a decent standard of living.
