Jan-men Matsuyama to open in Ehime in September 2026

A new restaurant, Jan-men Matsuyama, is scheduled to open in mid-September 2026 at the Fuji Grand Shigen shopping center in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. The shop will occupy the space previously held by Ichimonya.

Jan-men is a regional specialty originating from Manshuken, a yakiniku restaurant established in 1960 in Shimanto Town, Kochi Prefecture. The dish, which features a spicy soup with hormone, chives, and egg, was originally created as a staff meal. The new Matsuyama location will focus on the Jan-men brand, with plans to gradually expand its menu offerings.
