Jan Oblak supports Julian Alvarez amid Atletico Madrid transfer tensions

Atletico Madrid captain Jan Oblak has publicly voiced his support for striker Julian Alvarez following a period of tension involving a failed transfer to Barcelona. Oblak stated that the club has moved past the transfer saga and emphasized that Alvarez is fully focused on his commitments to the team.

Reports indicate that Alvarez has experienced dissatisfaction following the unsuccessful move, leading to potential changes in his professional representation. He is reportedly considering replacing his current agent, Fernando Illaldo, with Javier Pastore.

Looking ahead, Oblak expressed the team's ambition to compete for the La Liga title and prepare for the upcoming Madrid derby against Real Madrid, noting that the squad is aiming for maximum results this season.
