Jan Pancar competes in MXGP season finale in Australia

Slovenian motocross rider Jan Pancar is competing in the season finale of the MXGP World Championship at the Grand Prix of Australia in Darwin. Competing at the Hidden Valley track, Pancar is the sole Slovenian representative in the elite class for this event, following Tim Gajser's withdrawal due to a rib injury.

In the qualifying sessions, Pancar secured eighth place. In the first race of the Grand Prix, he finished seventh. The championship season was dominated by Dutch rider Jeffrey Herlings, who secured the world title. Pancar enters the final stages of the season looking to improve his overall standing, currently ranked 12th, with the goal of potentially overtaking Calvin Vlaanderen in the final standings.
