Jan Suraj Party replaces candidate for Darbhanga Graduate seat

The Jan Suraj Party has announced a change in its candidate for the Darbhanga Graduate constituency in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Council elections. Dr. Mohammad Imtiaz Noorani, a 49-year-old doctor, social worker, and businessman from the Bisphi block of Madhubani district, has replaced the previously announced candidate, Ravindra Kumar Yadav.

This move follows a similar change by the party in the Tirhut Teacher constituency, where Shyam Nandan Yadav replaced Bhushan Jha after the latter decided to contest as an independent. Jan Suraj intends to contest all eight seats in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, including four graduate and four teacher constituencies.

The election process is set to begin with the issuance of notifications on September 29. The nomination period ends on October 6, with scrutiny scheduled for October 7. Voting will take place on October 23, and the results are expected to be announced on October 27.
