Jan Thomas criticizes SAS over Premium Flex ticket fees

Norwegian television personality Jan Thomas has expressed strong frustration with airline SAS following a dispute over ticket flexibility. While traveling to Bergen for a TV 2 event, Thomas attempted to utilize the benefits of a Premium Flex ticket, which is the airline's most expensive fare on the Oslo-Bergen route.

Despite the ticket's inclusion of benefits such as the ability to change flights on the day of departure, Thomas reported that the change could not be processed via the airline's app. Upon contacting customer service, he was reportedly charged an additional 2,000 NOK to make the change. Thomas criticized the airline on social media, questioning the principle of paying a premium for flexibility if standard changes still incur significant extra costs.
