Jaén to plant 700 trees under employment program

The city of Jaén has announced plans to plant 700 new trees over the coming months as part of the 2025 Agricultural Employment Promotion Program (PFEA). While specific locations and tree species have not yet been detailed, the initiative aims to expand the city's greenery.

In addition to the planting project, municipal workers are currently conducting maintenance tasks, including clearing roadside verges and maintaining garden areas. These efforts are continuing despite the San Lucas festivities, with focus areas including the Granada road and the access to the Alfonso Sánchez Herrera fairgrounds.
