Jaén Tram increases driver training to 12 hours daily

The Junta de Andalucía has increased the practical training sessions for the Jaén Tram, extending daily circulation to 12 hours. The service now runs from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, which is five hours more than previous sessions.

This expansion aims to accelerate driver training and habilitation while allowing local residents to become familiar with the tram's daily presence on city streets. The training covers the entire route, from the workshops and garages in Vaciacostales to the Plaza de la Constitución. To ensure high standards of reliability and safety, trainers from Metro do Porto are assisting the operator, UTE Grupo Ruíz-Barraqueiro, in supervising the mobile tests.
