Jan Tuna urges media to scrutinize Andrej Babiš over political scandals

Czech journalist Jan Tuna told eXtra.cz that the media focus on scandals involving the Motorist group and Filip Turk distracts public attention from the actions of Andrej Babiš, leader of the ANO movement. He argued that journalists should devote more coverage to Babiš’s political activities.

Tuna also defended President Petr Pavel, praising his NATO role and French honor, while criticizing ongoing attacks on the president. He recounted his travels in Laos, noting the population’s fear of discussing politics and the value of freedom expressed by a local teenager. Additionally, Tuna spoke about the war in Ukraine, describing his assistance to Ukrainian families since the Russian invasion and highlighting the compounded hardships caused by the pandemic and the conflict.
