Jan Ziółkowski linked to Saudi Pro League transfer from AS Roma

AS Roma is reportedly considering the sale of 21-year-old Polish defender Jan Ziółkowski following a season in which he struggled to secure a regular starting position under manager Gian Piero Gasperini. The club is seeking a significant profit on the player, whom they acquired from Legia Warszawa for approximately 6.6 million euros.

Reports indicate that Roma is demanding a transfer fee between 20 million and 25 million euros. Interest has emerged from the Saudi Pro League, specifically from NEOM SC, which has reportedly made an official offer.

If the transfer proceeds, Roma intends to use the funds to bolster their defense, potentially targeting an experienced central defender on loan, such as Fenerbahçe's Jayden Oosterwolde, to replace Ziółkowski.
